Clinical Innovation Manager

Kathleen (Kat) Lee serves as a clinical innovation manager for the Center for Digital Health.  She is also the director of innovation and an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  Kat’s work focuses on leveraging social and web-based technologies to better engage patients and providers. Over the years, she has won numerous awards, grants and investments for her work and her tools are in widespread use within a number of diverse clinical settings. 

Kat obtained her bachelor's degree in engineering from Princeton University and went on to complete her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  Kat has received numerous recognitions for her pivotal service work with Trenton, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland youth, including the Princeton University Joseph Clifton Award, the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and the Johns Hopkins David E. Rogers Award.  Kat completed her Emergency Medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
