Arthur Pelullo is a data scientist at the Center for Insights to Outcomes. His work encompasses both research and providing infrastructure support for the team. Arthur’s research is centered around the PA Cure grant, an initiative that aims to build a novel, real-time surveillance and reporting system for acute illnesses across Pennsylvania by combining social media data with conventional health data. He is also interested in scientific, statistical, and digital literacy and issues in data privacy and operations management.

Before joining the team, Arthur worked as an IT systems manager at Banner Promotions Boxing Agency and at Paul VI High School as a science teacher.

Arthur graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in physics and his first master’s degree in economics with a concentration in applied econometrics. He later earned his second master’s degree in scientific computing from Rutgers University-Camden.
